Congratulations to all the riders who survived the Hood River Super-D course on Saturday.  What a course, what a race.  We had a blast being at the top of Post Canyon and taking photographs of all the riders on course.  We are in post-production right now and the images will be online very soon.  Check back tomorrow as we hope to have them available at that time.  Thanks again to everyone who participated.  -Hovering & Laura

Laura and I have taken ourselves off caffeine and sugar over the past 2 months and we have both seen a major transformation in our health and well being.  Primarily, we have more energy while being increasingly busy.  It has been a win-win for us.  Well, tonight we had to take a break from our routine and stop by Le HAPPY in NW Portland.  Le HAPPY is one of our favorite restaurants in this great city.  Delicious Crepes and Fabulous Atmosphere.  We had just finished hanging prints for our July / August Burning Man Show at Leepin Lizards Salon in NW Portland and had to stop by for a celebratory crepe.  Mmmmmm.  Delicious.  Le HAPPY is located at 1011 NW 16th Avenue between Lovejoy and Marshall streets.

The Stumptown Joustdown is one of those events in Portland that make this such an amazing city.  Today I made my way over to Col. Summers Park in SE Portland with my brother Andrew to take in the action.  Portland’s bike culture did not disappoint.  The Stumptown Joustdown is absolutely insane.  Competitors speed their bicycles, chariots and other wheeled craft straight at each other while wielding a jousting pole with which to pummel their opponent, hopefully to the ground.  The action was fast and the impacts spectacular.  There is no way I would compete in this event.  My hats off to those that picked up the joust and competed today.  We saw bicycles, mini bikes, a bride/groom match and chariots but had to leave before the open class.  Here are some of my favorite images.  You can find the rest of my image picks over at www.Hovering.com.  Thanks Portland!  ~H

Domestic Bliss Photography would like to thank everyone who came out to support the 1st Annual Mahina Young Golf Tournament for Prostate Cancer Awareness that was held at the beautiful Langdon Farms Golf Club.  It was a fantastic day on the links and we enjoyed getting to meet everyone.  And the helicopter golf ball drop was incredible.  How cool.  For any golfers who would like prints, we will donate 50% of our proceeds to Mahina Young so please continue to support Prostate Cancer Awareness and order some prints.
